From how to choose the right size to preparing for the day of your surgery and every step in between, you\u2019ve got a lot of reading to do!<\/p>\n<p>But what about once you get home and aren\u2019t sure what\u2019s normal while you\u2019re healing?<\/p>\n<p><strong>To help you navigate the waters of your recovery, here are a few things you can expect after <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.randcosmeticsurgery.com\/breast\/breast-augmentation\/\"><strong>breast augmentation<\/strong><\/a><strong>.*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X3en9711vTk?list=PLkIgzXvJVLiSNwE4BMk_h2Rk9vvtZkELb\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<h2>Tight, Uncomfortable Breasts<\/h2>\n<p>Your plastic surgeon should prescribe you medication to help with discomfort after your breast augmentation, but know that <strong>it&#8217;s a normal part of the healing process to feel like your breasts are tight or uncomfortable<\/strong>.*<\/p>\n<p>As your implants begin to settle into place and your body adjusts to your new shape, you should notice a gradual improvement in these temporary effects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[pullquote]Swelling after breast augmentation can last for several weeks, which can cause a tight feeling.[\/pullquote]<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>High, Square-Shaped Implants<\/h2>\n<p>Another temporary effect that you might experience after getting brand new breast implants is a squared shape that seems to be sitting high on your chest wall.<strong> Your implants will take some time to \u201cdrop and fluff\u201d as you <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.randcosmeticsurgery.com\/4-tips-for-a-more-comfortable-breast-augmentation-recovery\/\"><strong>recover from breast enhancement<\/strong><\/a><strong>,which means they\u2019ll settle into a more natural-looking position and soften to a rounder shape.*<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Asymmetry<\/h2>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s also not uncommon for one breast to look slightly larger than the other <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plasticsurgery.org\/cosmetic-procedures\/breast-augmentation\/recovery\"><strong>right after breast augmentation<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> There are a couple reasons for this.
