Breast Lift Incision Options<\/h2>\n

The T-incision, sometimes also referred to as an anchor incision, involves three separate incisions. The first traces a circle around the areola. The second creates a vertical line from the areola to the crease of the breast, and the third follows the breast crease. The resulting shape looks like an inverted “T” or an anchor<\/strong>, which is where the technique gets its name.<\/p>\n

The lollipop breast lift<\/a> involves the same incisions as the T, except for the final one in the breast crease.<\/p>\n

Benefits of the T-Incision vs. the Lollipop<\/h2>\n

One of the biggest benefits of the T-incision over the lollipop breast lift is that the T technique can create better 3D shaping and can result in smoother, improved scarring<\/strong>.*<\/p>\n

With the lollipop lift, the scars may be shorter, but that doesn\u2019t necessarily mean that they will be less noticeable. This technique can also be more challenging to create the desired shape after your breast lift<\/a> because it offers limited access to the breast pocket.<\/p>\n
